Abstract
Resumo Este estudo engloba as espécies de Xyridaceae registradas para as cangas da Serra dos Carajás, no estado do Pará, trazendo descrições detalhadas, ilustração, comentários morfológicos e distribuição na área de estudos. São registradas duas espécies de Xyris: X. brachysepala, endêmica da Serra dos Carajás, e X. macrocephala, espécie de ampla distribuição no Neotrópico.
