Abstract
For a monolithic plate with an eccentrically pin-loaded hole, such as in a simple lap-joint, a semi-analytical method is used to determine the flexibility parameters of the plate, i.e. parameters defining the support of the pin provided by the plate. Simple expressions are obtained for each of the parameters. Large differences are found with previously published results.
