Abstract
Given the steadily increasing pressure to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, alternative fuels are getting more and more competitive compared to conventional fuels. Ethanol-based fuels are well on their way to acquiring an established position as renewable fuels for spark-ignition engines. Having gathered a comprehensive knowhow on these fuels Bosch is able to support customers as a development partner and as a system supplier for engine management systems and of all the components required.
