Abstract

Deviations from strictly canonical light cone singularities of the e.m. current commutator, such as logarithmic factors or fractional power behavior could, in principle, be detected by looking for J ≈ 0 fixed pole contributions to the imaginary part of the Compton amplitude in the Regge limit, i.e. electro-production structure function W 2 and total photoabsorption cross section.
