Abstract

Apiocephalus licheneus Gahan, a lepturine cerambycid beetle, is reported from the western part of India for the first time. It is briefly described and all the important characters are illustrated to help subsequent identification.

Summary

Introduction

OPEN ACCESS of a female collected in Dehradun, India (Gahan 1906). At present only these two species are known under this genus. Gahan (1906) has given an adequate description of Apiocephalus licheneus, no illustrations of this species are available anywhere.
