Abstract

Consider herein are the finite dimension of global attractor of nonlinear strain waves in elastic waveguides. By constructing two appropriate bounded coercive quadratic forms and analysis of evolution of volume in n,Ej space, the finiteness of the Hausdorff and fractal dimensions of the attractors is obtained.
