Abstract
In this paper, the author would like to present his works, where microcapsule immobilized ferroelectric liquid crystalline segments was prepared, and the permeability control of the encapsulated core material, a drug, from the microcapsule or the optical resolution of an amino acid on the microcapsule was investigated under an external electric field. The results demonstrate that on the liquid crystal microcapsule can be utilized as the finite-value control of the core material or the chiral separation material by the electric field stimulation.
