Abstract
The electronic structure of La 2− x Sr x CuO 4 (LSCO) has been revealed by a series of photoemission spectroscopic studies. The unusual electronic states in the underdoped regime are attributed to the large and small pseudogap formation, which has been observed in other high- T C cuprates, and stripe fluctuations, which are particularly pronounced in LSCO.
