Abstract
In this paper, we demonstrate a technique of femtosecond laser induced enhancement in the photoluminescence efficiency of TGA-capped CdTe quantum dot/water colloid. The average laser power required is of the order of few W/cm2 and the time required is few tens of minutes. This process results in stable quantum dots with negligible shift in the PL peak wavelength.
