Abstract

1. In the Dzhezkazgan deposit, the most hazardous wave from the seismic view point is the Rayleigh surface wave. 2. When determining the vibration velocity of the medium, in the elastic deformation zone we must take the source to be of the size of the zone of residual deformation; but in the zone of residual deformation, we must take it to be of the size of the zone of fracture. 3. The particle vibration velocity at the boundary between the zone of elastic and residual deformations does not depend on the charge weight, but is governed only by the physical properties of the medium.
