Abstract

The investigated problem combines the fuzzy control of uncertain discrete-time nonlinear systems with time-delay and the fault tolerant control. The control issue of nonlinear discrete-time systems is addressed via using Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy-system models. Parametric uncertainty and time-delay terms are employed in building Takagi-Sugeno model for the controlled plant hence it approaches more accurately the original system. The integrity and robustness are guaranteed for the closed-loop fuzzy system in sense of Lyapunov stability method. The sufficient conditions for the closed-loop fuzzy system possess integrity against actuator failures and sensor failures are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities for the case with known bounds on uncertainties. The simulation results are offered to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
