Abstract

To find out the perception of harmonization from socio-economic, institutional, and environmental aspects to support sustainable biological resource management, studies were conducted in Klumpang, Tandam Hilir, Bulu Cina, Kuala Begumit and Tanjung Jati on June 2018. These locations are the same locations of the study that conducted on 2004, 2007, 2013, and 2014. Primary data were collected with natural settings and focus group discussions. The results show that the perceptions of an integrated system from social, economic, ecological, and institutional aspects, with the average value of 3.82, while the ideal value to be achieved is 5.00. To pursue the difference of 1.18 (23.60%), therefore, efforts are required to improve integration synergies and community participation in order to achieve the ideal value. This integration system has three main functions: improving income, promoting rural economic growth, and strengthening and sustaining environmental sustainability
