Abstract

A serious mismatch exists between what young people with learning disabilities and their families want at the period between leaving school and becoming an adult and what they actually receive. That was the message delivered to delegates attending the conference, which was jointly organised by the Royal Society of Medicine and the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD).
