Abstract

A 72-year-old woman underwent screening esophagogastroduodenoscopy during a comprehensive annual health examination, revealing abnormal lesions in the stomach. She was referred to our hospital for more precise examination. She had no complaints at the time of medical examination. She had no abdominal tenderness and other physical examinations yielded normal results. Laboratory examinations, such as complete blood count, blood biochemistry, and urinalysis, were all within normal ranges. Detailed esophagogastroduodenoscopy revealed an elevated lesion about 10 mm in diameter in the gastric fornix, and the top of tumor appeared bright red (Figure A).
