Abstract
The “Cochrane Corner” is a quarterly section in the Journal that highlights systematic reviews relevant to otolaryngology–head and neck surgery, with invited commentary to aid clinical decision making. This installment features a Cochrane Review entitled “Scopolamine (hyoscine) for preventing and treating motion sickness,” which concludes that scopolamine is more effective than placebo, but no conclusions can be made regarding comparative efficacy with other interventions or the ability of scopolamine to treat established symptoms.
