Abstract

The objective of this paper is to propose solution of Economic load dispatch using ADEEA algorithm. Economic load dispatch is non linear problem, all the parameters like real & reactive power, voltage magnitudes, transformer tapings, phase angles, reactive power injections has minimum and maximum limits. Differential evaluation is an effective method to solve the non linear problems. In the optimization process control parameters are needed to change, it is called as “Self Adaptive Differential Evaluation”. The proposed algorithm is derived from SADE. In some special problems the historical data is very useful so by adding the historical data externally to the differential evaluation system it reduces the cost of generation. The proposed algorithm is tested on bench mark IEEE 30 bus structure and it gives the best solution with good convergence ratio.
