Abstract

For the systems, which are modelled by a dynamic linear system, the Parity Space approach has been widely used for Fault diagnosis purpose. The parity relations are derived from the model equations which are modified such that only available values of the variables intervene. Checking their consistency gives the basic information for the monitoring process. The modification of the system equations is performed in order to decouple the parity equatins from the system states and disturbances. This paper proposes a generalisation of Parity Space to non linear dynamic polynomial systems, in both discrete time and continuous time. The proposed method provides a mathematical support to decouple system states from non linear dynamic polynomial system equations.
