Abstract
Objective: Standard surgical repair of aortic dissection leaves the descending aorta untreated. The hybrid approach using an integrated stentgraft Dacron prosthesis allows for extended repair including the descending aorta. It was investigated whether this has an impact on the fate of the false lumen.
