Abstract

Jenny*, 23 years of age, attended a Young People's Open Access Clinic for a repeat prescription and supply of Microgynon 30, a combined oral contraceptive pill (COC). She had been using this method of contraception effectively since the age of 17 years and had not experienced any problems. On this occasion, Jenny was seeking advice regarding her recent pill taking. Additionally, Jenny informed me that she had just completed her training as an airhostess and would be working as a cabin-crew member on long haul flights to a variety of locations.
