Abstract
There is an issue with J. Cell Sci. (2014) 126, 638-644 (doi:10.1242/jcs.116434).The journal was alerted anonymously to duplicated bands in the GαoB gel in Fig. S2. The authors no longer have the original data and therefore cannot explain what happened but state that they did not perform any quantification or comparison of the expression of these genes and that the conclusions of the paper are not affected.The journal is publishing this note to alert readers to the issue.
