It examines the impact of EI on stress perception, physiological responses, and stress management across diverse contexts. Findings reveal a multi-dimensional relationship, highlighting the importance of emotional regulation, social support, and resilience in mitigating stress. The validation of physiological markers, such as salivary cortisol, offers valuable insights into stress dynamics, while contextual factors and biological underpinnings underscore the complexity of EI's influence on stress. Implications for future research and practice advocate for tailored interventions and gender-sensitive approaches to harness the potential of EI in stress management.
