Abstract
This article explored Pentecostal distinctiveness in touching the hearts and minds of the upcoming generation and its implication for Pentecostals to holistically possess the nations. Grounded in a comprehensive review of scholarly literature on Pentecostal distinctiveness, the biblical construal of the heart and mind, investing in the upcoming generation, handing the baton to the next generation, generational gap syndrome, the Missio-Dei, and the role of Pentecostal leadership and churches, the research has provided a thorough analysis of these interconnected themes. By examining the theological foundations, the article has highlighted the transformative power of Pentecostals through the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. It has further emphasized the need for intentional investment in the next generation, equipping them to navigate the clash of cultures and uncertainties of the contemporary world. Drawing from existing literature and critical analysis, the research has underscored the role of Pentecostal leadership and churches in shaping the hearts and minds of young people, preparing them to fulfill the Missio-Dei in diverse cultural contexts. The article concludes with practical recommendations and insights, providing a scholarly contribution to the field and offering guidance for Pentecostal leaders and churches seeking to effectively impact the upcoming generation to possess the nations.
