Abstract

To improve the teaching effect of Chinese medicine preparation analysis,the undergraduate students of Taishan Medical University enrolled in 2007 and 2008,majoring in Chinese materia medica,were taken as the research object.They were taught by traditional teaching method and case teaching method,respectively.The effect of the two teaching methods was evaluated by the final exam scores and the questionnaire survey results.The final exam scores showed that under the case teaching mode,the students' scores of subjective questions were significantly higher than that of the traditional teaching mode,and the total results as well.The survey results showed that the case teaching method can effectively mobilize the students' learning initiative and enthusiasm,improve their comprehensive abilities of analyzing and solving problems,enhance their learning effect and promote the quality of teaching.
