Abstract
A software package for process identification will be described with emphasis on its application to laboratory pilot plants and full scale industrial production units. Methods for off-line parameter estimation as well as real-time recursive versions are evaluated. The recursive identification methods are extensively used in connection with control algorithms. The resulting adaptive controllers are also dealt with in this paper.
