Abstract

The shape of the long line array is required to correct signal processing data and locate underwater targets precisely. In this paper, the warping transform form with waveguide invariant (β) is adopted to extract the single normal mode (3rd and 4th) through the compression processing broadband sound source signal of the vertical line array, which is based on underwater acoustic propagation sea trial data conducted in shallow waters of the South China Sea in November 2017. This method verifies the relationship between the single normal mode phase for the vertical line array sound field and shape. The results are consistent with the vertical line array attitude sensor measurement method.
