Abstract

We have measured the cross section for the processes, γγ → π + π − and γγ → K + K −, with high statistics data collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB e + e − collider. We find resonant peaks in the two-photon c.m. energy region from 1.6 – 2.4 GeV in both processes. The cross sections in the 2.5 – 4.1 GeV region are compared with QCD predictions.
