Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of the work is to study the enhancement of convective heat transfer of the nanofluid as a function of a different volume fraction of nanoparticles at the different operating temperatures. This work deals with the use of carbon nanotube (CNT) nanofluids with CNT as a nanoparticle and ethylene glycol (EG)/water as a base fluid. In this study, CNT and their thermophysical properties were reviewed and discussed. To investigate the convective heat transfer, an experimental set-up is to be fabricated. The experimental set-up is used to analyse the thermophysical properties of CNT nanofluids.
