Abstract

We show by susceptibility experiments on TMMC samples with 0.33, 1, 2 at% Cu 2+ that a minute impurity concentration in this 1D compound leads to a strong reduction of the 3D transition temperature: for x = 2 at .% Cu, T N ( x ) is 40% lower than T N (0).
