Abstract
Dramatic changes of fragment angular distributions over a large range of atomic numbers in the reactions induced by 14N, 20Ne, and 40Ar on natural Ag targets are interpreted as evidence of a diffusion-controlled evolution of an intermediate complex along the mass asymmetry degree of freedom.
