Abstract

The article presents the results of thermal tests of the condenser of the steam turbine PT-25-90 UTZ during off-design operation. An increase in the pressure in the condenser for the possibility of heating the district heating water is considered. The pressure in the condenser was artificially deteriorated both by lowering the vapor pressure of the ejector and by reducing the flow rate of the cooling water. The maximum pressure was 70.8 kPa. The maximum exhaust steam temperature was 154 °C. The heat transfer coefficient of the condenser has deteriorated by 75% in comparison with the design mode of operation.
