Abstract

Resumen El debate en torno de la racialización y la identidad siempre ha estado conformado por perspectivas muy diversas que otorgan al fenómeno migratorio un lugar fundamental a ser analizado. La construcción social del racismo en Brasil ha caminado lado a lado con la historia migratoria del país. Las nuevas olas migratorias del siglo XXI configuran un escenario en este país que nos provoca la reflexión, por ejemplo, sobre cómo los inmigrantes racialmente identificados perciben el racismo en Brasil, país que todavía se presenta en el exterior con el mito de la democracia racial. El presente artículo busca poner en diálogo los debates contemporáneos sobre las teorías de identidad y racismo con la actual inmigración racializada, mediante el análisis de artículos periodísticos y debates académicos.
