Abstract

Abstract Date Presented 04/01/2022 This quantitative survey study attempts to investigate the experiences of minority caregivers of youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by analyzing the relationship among affiliate stigma, informal support, caregiver burden, and quality of life. Results indicated statistically significant positive correlations between affiliate stigma and caregiver burden, whereas quality of life was negatively correlated with these two variables. OT’s can assist this population by targeting environmental factors during intervention.
