Abstract
The problem of digestive system diseases is one of the leading in pediatric, therapeutic practice and gastroenterology in particular. The aim of the study was to study the effectiveness of complex treatment of functional disorders of the biliary tract by hypokinetic-hypotonic type in children with Engilen extract containing artichoke extract, turmeric and milk thistle. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the use of combined artichoke, turmeric, and milk thistle in children with dysfunction of the gall bladder and sphincter of Oddi resulted in elimination of clinical symptoms, normalization of biliary tract motility in 90,0 % of patients and reducing the frequency of exacerbations during the year on 74,1 %.
