Abstract

In the ever-changing world of healthcare, nurse leaders are regularly presented with new challenges and opportunities. The accountable care organization (ACO) concept has become ubiquitous in today's healthcare industry and just may be a major solution to the woes of our segmented healthcare delivery system. As quickly as this new organizational form is emerging, so too, it is expanding.
