Abstract

In this Letter the degrees of nonextensivity of the hadronic quantum scattering systems is investigated by using Tsallis-like scattering entropies S J ( p) and S θ ( q), p, q∈ R. Then, evidences for strong nonextensive statistical effects, with nonextensivity indices 1/2⩽ p⩽0.6, as well as, for the (1/2 p+1/2 q=1)- nonextensivity conjugation, are obtained by fitting the pion–nucleus experimental entropies with the PMD- SQS- optimal state predictions. The interpretation of these strong nonextensive statistical effects as indirect manifestations of the presence of the quarks and gluons in the hadronic quantum system is suggested.
