Abstract

The Alzheimer's Association has stimulated collaboration and scientific advancement in preventing and treating Alzheimer's disease by bringing together leading researchers developing technological approaches offering promise in this area. This year, the Alzheimer's Association collaborated with the International Society to Advance Alzheimer's Research and Treatment to organize the first Technology & Dementia symposium at the 2013 Alzheimer's Association International Conference in Boston. Here, the authors present some of the projects discussed at the symposium, which address early diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, and assistance.
