Abstract

The article gives a detailed description of the DQI (Discourse Quality Index) as a tool for fixing the phases of discourse, defines the coding criteria, presents a method for fixing the phases of discourse and evaluating the speech impact. DQI with the presented coding criteria makes it possible to determine both the constructiveness / destructiveness of statements and the discursive quality of debates. The analysis presents four categories of coding with seven points of assessment, in which there is an upward movement from destructiveness to constructiveness. The summation of the codes makes it possible to reveal the gradation of coding and to determine the discursive quality of the debate.
