Abstract
Transmission probability spectrum, signal to crosstalk ratio and channel capacity of OAM-based FSO links in Kolmogorov turbulence are investigated by using Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) beams and Bessel-Gauss ( BG) beams, respectively. The results reveal the BG beams have a smaller crosstalk probability spectrum expansion, higher signal to crosstalk ratio and the channel capacity of BG beams is also much closer to the ideal value than the LG beams in the same turbulent environment.
