Abstract

It is the basis of effective public opinion monitoring and guidance to evaluate the influence of micro-blog users and excavate high-impact micro-blog users. However, the existing researches on evaluation of user influence ignored the contribution of micro-blog's information retweeting mechanism. To solve this problem, an evaluation model of micro-blog user influence based on retweeting network was proposed. Firstly, the paper established a retweeting network of micro-blog users, and determined the edge weights in the network by defining retweeting coefficients between micro-blog users. Then, the paper built an evaluation model of micro-blog user influence by combining the direct fans and retweeting influence of micro-blog users, and calculated the retweeting influence by defining the coefficients of the length of the retweeting paths. Finally, experimental comparison was carried out. The results showed that compared with PeopleRank, the precision of the method increased by 16% and the recall of this method increased by 15.7%. The comparative analysis of test results indicated that the influence of micro-blog users was closely related to the retweeting and dissemination of micro-blog information and the method could effectively identify high-impact micro-blog users.
