Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of HIV clinical consultation offered by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) funded AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC) program. The study demonstrates that the consultation provided is effective and useful in providing current treatment recommendations to clinicians in the field caring for HIV-infected patients. The study also shows that individual clinicians seeking clinical consultation from AETC consultants implement the recommendations provided.
