Abstract
The educational game has been widely used as one of the tools for teaching and learning in programming language subject. In this paper, the Codenite game were implemented and use as a tool for an educational game which aims to determine the impact on programming self-belief. Many studies have been using programming educational games such as the puzzle game, as it positively impacts learning, situational interest, enjoyment, and self-beliefs for the learner. However, the battle royale game is a very famous type of game and it could be applied to the programming educational game for the learner to enjoy. Therefore, the Codenite game were implemented to assist the learner in learning programming courses. In this research, Codenite games were used to compare non-experienced with experienced programming language skill using Programming Self-Beliefs questionnaire. Also, comparing the learner's useability using NASA TLX and GUESS. The result shown that Codenite game delivered a good self- belief for a group of experienced programming language learner. On the other hand, the result from the NASA TLX shown that the non-experienced higher slightly difference than experienced learner. Last, the result from GUESS shown that significate differenced from both groups.
