Abstract
This article is derived from a study whose objective was to determine the development of motor coordination in soccer players in the under 15 category of the Boca Juniors club training school in the city of Pasto-Nariño; It is important to highlight that in soccer, motor coordination is understood as the ability to order and organize motor actions oriented towards a determined objective with precision, effectiveness, economy and harmony, integrating all motor factors. The symptoms that cause difficulties in motor coordination in the practice of soccer in the population under study were detected mainly in their training, which generated physical overload and did not give importance to the coordination abilities, which generates a delayed reaction within the the practices and training of young soccer players. The research adopted a paradigm under positivism, which is a philosophical-scientific current, the quantitative approach that speaks of numerical data that is quantifiable, the empirical-analytical method, a type of explanatory-experimental research, with a population sample of 14 young soccer players, and some techniques and instruments for re-selection of information, where surveys, participant observation, test batteries and table of averages were applied. Already in the results part, first the sociodemographic and anthropometric variables of the athletes were characterized, the protocol of the test batteries (T test and Coda test) was implemented, to finally analyze the results found by the test batteries applied to the footballers from the Boca Juniors club, making an interesting comparison with a similar population from a club in Spain.
