Abstract

Ectopic pancreas is a common subpithelial lesion in the stomach, but it is often difficult to differentiate ectopic pancreas from other mesenchymal tumors, such as gastrointestinal stromal tumors, due to nonspecific imaging findings. In this article the author demonstrates the characteristic endoscopic ultrasonography features of ectopic pancreas, which are potentially useful for differentiating ectopic pancreas from other mesenchymal tumors in the stomach. This article is part of an expert video encyclopedia.
