Abstract

ABSTRACT The flagship congress of the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC), EUROCORR 2020, was held under the above theme from 7–10 September. Because of the pandemic, this was held as a VIRTUAL conference. This major corrosion event will be reviewed in four parts over four issues, with this the second instalment covering technical sessions on Corrosion by hot gases and combustion products, Corrosion of heritage and archaeological artefacts, Corrosion and corrosion protection of additive manufactured metals, Atmospheric corrosion and corrosion monitoring to predict atmospheric corrosion and Environmentally sensitive fracture and environmentally assisted crack initiation.
