Abstract
Presentation of a new LCAO SCF method elaborated for the prediction of bond lengths in aromatic and polyenic hydrocarbons. The results are good, principally for the short and long bond lengths. The hydrocarbons studied were: butadiene, naphthalene, biphenylene, anthracene, pyrene, chrysene, triphenylene, perylene, coronene, in a total of 49 bonds.
