Abstract
A series of new complexes is reported with tetrahydrofuran (THF) as the ligand, viz. {M(THF) 6}(SbCl 6) 2 where M is Mg(II), Sr(II), Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II0, {Ca(THF) 6}(SbCl 6) 2(THF) and {Cu(THF) 6}(SbCl 6) 2(THF) 2. In all compounds the metal(II) ions are octahedrally surrounded by tetrahydrofuran molecules.
