Abstract
Social structures are implicit agreements for the organization of society around the issues of social power: ideology, wealth, the military and the state. These structures develop in a natural way due to pressures of different kind: labor, environmental, demographic among others. In our model, the structure of the network, in particular its size, determine important features of the government. Particularly important in our approach is the Dunbar number D of the network, since the size of the network is bounded as n ≤ 40 (D/2) m-1 for an m-level government. We show that the size of the government is proportional to .
