Abstract

The aim of the article is to perform an analysis of content aspects of scientific research as fundamental ideas that form the basis of establishing the scientific and pedagogical school of educational speciality “Information, library and archival studies” at Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. It can be reached on the groundwork of semantic analysis of the scientific publications document flow, thematically dedicated to the field of library, document and information activity and training of the relevant profile specialists.
 Research methods are general scientific methods of cognition (analysis, synthesis, abstraction). The research used the method of grouping publications according to certain characteristics, which made it possible to receive conclusions in peculiarities of each group; the systematic approach was applied to researching the educational speciality “Information, library and archival studies” functioning as an educational system.
 Scientific novelty lies in the fact that relevant investigation clusters were identified in the scientific research programme of educational speciality of ILAS (IBAS) at KNUCA (KNUKiM), which conceptually outline the necessary directions of scientific study and further systematic formation of the scientific and pedagogical school for training specialists in document and information profile.
 Main conclusions. A necessary condition for functioning of the scientific and pedagogical school in educational speciality, as well as its system forming factor is a scientific research programme, which is determined by the content of educational speciality “Information, library and archival studies” in accordance with the current standard.
 Studying clusters in the scientific and research programme of forming the scientific and pedagogical school of the ILAS (IBAS) speciality are presented in such aspects:
 − identification of theoretical and methodological foundations of the library, documentary and archival education development;
 − substantiation of theoretical and methodological foundations of the innovative educational and professional programmes development;
 − development of the subject field of the professional’s activity in speciality “Information, library and archival studies”;
 − scientific concepts, methods, approaches as bases of constructing the system of subject knowledge in the educational component;
 − theoretical and methodological substantiation of the content and methods of teaching the educational components of the curriculum.
