Abstract
The article considers the ESG-concept and related principles, defines their role in the development of the modern economy. The impact of the introduction of ESG-principles both on the economy of an individual company and on the modern economy as a whole is indicated. The reasons for the attractiveness of companies that apply the ESG concept in their activities have been studied. Emphasis is placed on the problems of transformation of the world economy associated with the application of ESG principles. A number of measures have been proposed, the implementation of which will make it possible to implement the strategy of economic transition to ESG principles.
