ERISE: A Web-Based Learning System for Digital Records Management in Vocational High Schools

The purpose of this research is to determine digital archive management which includes digital archive management facilities and to determine the positive impact of digital archive management for companies.This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach by describing and analyzing problems related to digital archive management. Primary and secondary data form the basis of qualitative research. Primary data for this research was obtained through documentation, observation, interviews and questionnaires, while secondary data was obtained from books, previous research and related articles.. From the results of this research, it can be seen that PT Anugrah Alam Karunia Abadi has not implemented digital archive management. However, the company is already discussing making a transition to digital archive management. In a comparison between the two methods, manual archives and digital archives, digital archive management increases the ease and speed of the sending, sharing and searching process. This also allows agencies to save physical storage space while providing more efficient access to users. Thus, this research shows that digital archive management can be beneficial for companies, such as improving operational efficiency and resource management. In the case of PT Anugrah Alam Karunia Abadi, implementing digital archive management can be a solution to increase the effectiveness of business processes and information management, and as a result, the company is expected to be able to take appropriate actions to implement digital archive management.

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the current situation of digital management in universities in Guangxi, 2) to develop the purpose model for improving digital management in universities in Guangxi, 3) to evaluate the suitability and feasibility of the purpose model for improving digital management in universities in Guangxi. The sample group of this research was 148 administrators in 20 public undergraduate universities in Guangxi. They were selected by systematic random sampling and sample random sampling. The interview group was led by administrators from 12 universities, totaling 12 people. The experts for evaluating the suitability and feasibility of the purpose model for improving digital management consisted of high-level administrators from 7 universities, totaling 7 people. The research instruments were document analysis, questionnaire, structured interview, and evaluation form. The statistics to analyze the data were percentage, average value, and standard deviation. The results found that the current situation of digital management in universities in Guangxi in five aspects was at a high level. Considering the results of this research aspects ranged from the highest to lowest level were as follows: the highest level was the digital campus security management system, followed by the digital student management system, and the digital scientific research management system was the lowest level. The purpose model for improving digital management in universities in Guangxi has five aspects, which contain 40 measures. There are 7 measures to enhance the digital management ability of Guangxi University managers, 10 measures to promote the digital teaching management system in Universities in Guangxi, 8 measures to promote the digital scientific research management system in Universities in Guangxi, 9 measures to promote the digital student management system in Universities in Guangxi, 6 measures to promote the digital campus security management system in Universities in Guangxi. The results of the evaluation of the suitability and feasibility of the purpose model for improving digital management in universities in Guangxi were at the highest level.

The training on digital archive management based on Google Drive Desktop was conducted with the aim of enhancing the capability of Islamic boarding school administrators in managing digital archives. The training took place on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the MA Umar Mas'ud Sangkapura Auditorium, following prior coordination and distribution of invitation letters to the administrators of Islamic boarding schools in the Sangkapura Sub-District. The participants consisted of 29 administrators from 15 Islamic boarding schools in the Sangkapura Sub-District. The training covered the fundamental concepts of digital archive management, the use of Google Drive Desktop, best practices in digital archive management, and folder and file organization. The training employed presentation sessions, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice using Google Drive Desktop. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-training surveys to assess the participants' understanding and skills. Additionally, a satisfaction survey was conducted to evaluate the quality of the training. The evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in the participants' understanding and skills in digital archive management after the training. The satisfaction survey revealed that the majority of the participants were highly satisfied with the training material, delivery methods, clarity of instructions, and overall training experience. It is anticipated that this training will have a positive impact on digital archive management in Islamic boarding schools across the Sangkapura Sub-District and serve as a foundation for the development of similar training programs in other locations.

The implementation of a digital archiving system in schools is an urgent need in the digital era, particularly in improving the efficiency of data and document management. This activity aims to introduce and train Garuda Nusantara Vocational High School students in digital archive management, replacing the still-widely used conventional methods. The methods used in this activity include theoretical training, hands-on practice using digital archiving applications, and evaluation of student understanding through project assignments. The results of the activity indicate an increase in students' understanding of digital archiving concepts and practices, as well as their ability to use applications to store, manage, and search for documents effectively. The implementation of this system is expected to not only improve students' information technology skills but also support more orderly and efficient school administration. This activity is the first step in establishing a digital work culture in vocational high schools. Tsinghua Unisplendour Corp. (TH-UNIS) is involved in a project launched by JiangSu province power company (JSPC) called JSPC Digital Archives to improve the company's archive management by building an Internet-based digital archive management system to link the archive management of JSPC's hundreds of branch offices, departments and organizations throughout the whole province. The project consists of adoption of up-to-date digital archive management theories and strategies, construction of a computer network system, and development of digital archive management software. In this paper, several design issues of this project are presented, including: (a) the goal of this system: not only is JSPC Digital Archives aiming to handle archive management of JSPC and its branches, but it is also designed to be an important part of JSPC digital management; (b) choosing the system structure: J2EE, and its effects on system development, maintenance and update; and (c) XML in JSPC Digital Archives.

This research is motivated by the need for adequate instructional tools and learning media in photography course at Vocational High School in Surakarta. The objectives of this research are to (1) design learning media with a constructivist approach for the exposure triangle learning material and (2) produce a learning media design that aligns with the needs of teachers and students. The research utilizes the Research and Development (R&D) method with a prototype development model involving six stages: communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, and deployment delivery & feedback. Data were collected through interviews to determine the needs for media design, and the results were used to design learning media for the subject of Audio and Video Processing Techniques. The design was subsequently validated by subject matter experts and media experts before being tested on 31 Multimedia students in grade 12 at Vocational High School. The testing results indicated positive percentages from subject matter experts (82%) and media experts (85%), with an average System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 75.73. This suggests that the learning media is suitable for use and well-received by users. The media addresses practical challenges, such as limited access to DSLR cameras, and provides interactive simulations to bridge theoretical understanding and practical application.

Financial literacy is one of the essential life skills that must be possessed by every individual, especially vocational students. However, financial learning media used in schools tend to be conventional and not interactive. Therefore, innovation is needed in the form of interactive learning media that can present relevant, interesting, and applicable learning experiences. This research is development research (R&D) that aims to improve the financial literacy of Vocational High School students through the development of "MOMA" Money Management learning media. The product feasibility test was conducted by material experts, media experts, teachers, and students. Data collection was done through interviews and questionnaires. The data collection instruments used were interview guidelines, expert validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The feasibility of the learning media produced was analysed using the conversion of 5 quantitative categories. The result of this research is an android game-based learning media "MOMA" Money Management in learning financial literacy Vocational High School. The learning media “MOMA” is proven to be effective in improving students' understanding of the basic concepts of financial management. The learning media is considered feasible by material experts, media experts, teachers, and students. This media is also adaptive and easily accessible.

<p><em>This research aims to exploratively describe the characteristics of archive management at UIN SMH Banten. The characteristics referred to are the percentage of manual or digital archive management. There is also an explanation of the many static and dynamic archives managed at UIN SMH Banten. Apart from the percentages at the archive management stage, several obstacles faced by archivists in managing archives at UIN SMH Banten were also discussed. To obtain valid and credible data, questionnaires, interviews and documentation were used. The informants in this research were all archivists who were tasked with managing archives at UIN SMH Banten. From the results of data collection and analysis, it was found that archive management is generally carried out manually and digitally. Even though archives have been managed manually and digitally, archive management is still dominated by manual methods. The archives that are mostly managed by archivists at UIN SMH Banten are dynamic archives. Digitally managed archives are not yet fully integrated at the university level. Meanwhile, archives that are managed manually are still not in accordance with the archive management classification. One of the obstacles to archival management at UIN SMH Banten is the lack of archival facilities and infrastructure which results in problems with digital archive integration.</em></p>

BlockChain have seen many significant adoptions in many sectors because of its characteristics such as tamper-proof, easy traceable, decentralized and so on. The BlockChain could be considered as a super database that cannot be tampered with, any data that does not want to be tampered can be recorded on the blockchain. The characteristics of blockchain are very suitable for the scene of digital archives protection. This paper proposes a double-blockchains framework concerning the management of archives. The framework can concatenate different kinds of isolated digital archive management systems to provide a public and dependable archive platform. The double-blockchains technology is easily integrated into the digital archives management system by calling the public interfaces of this framework. At last, we give an implementation of this framework. The experiment shows that this framework can resolve the problems encountered in current digital archive management system.

This research was conducted to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Kanoma’s learning media in improving the understanding of mathematical concepts in high school students in class X. This research applied development research design with the PLOMP approach developed by Tjeerd Plomp. The stages of development using the PLOMP approach include preliminary investigation, product design, construction, testing, and implementation. The population in this research were all ten-grade students at a vocational high school. The research sample consisted of 16 students in the experimental class and 14 students in the control class. These students were selected randomly using the cluster random sampling technique. The instruments utilized in the study included assessments by media experts, questionnaires for students and teachers, and pretest and posttest evaluations of mathematical understanding. The instruments given to media experts is used to validate the Kanoma media and its content. The questionnaires for students and teachers were used to test the practicality of the developed Kanoma media. These quistionnaires gathered feedback on how easy and useful the media was in a classroom setting. The pretest and posttest were designed to measure students’ understanding of mathematical concepts related to finding the roots of quadratic equations. The average value given by material experts from the two validators of Kanoma’s media is 0.82. The average value given by media experts from the two validators is 0.90. The results show that the Kanoma media was categorized as “very valid” by both material and media experts. This indicates that media was suitable for use by class X students in senior high school. Kanoma media is also classified as practical based on the average percentage of student and teacher responses. The responses from students scored 73%, categorized as “practice”. The responses from teachers scored 81%, categorized as “very practice.” Kanoma media is effective based on the Mann-Whitney Asyptotic Sig. (0.002) <α (0.05). The results showed a significant improvement in mathematical understanding. Students who used the Kanoma media had a better grasp of the mathematical concepts than those who did not.

This study aims to: (1) Produce a learning media’s tutorial video for setting the Front Wheel Alignment with a 3D Spooring tool; (2) find out the feasibility of developing a tutorial video for setting the Front Wheel Alignment with a 3D Spooring tool for learning media on Light Vehicle Engineering Department in Vocational High School 1 Magelang. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate) because more clearly the steps in each stage of this model. Data collected by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The video feasibility assessment in this study was conducted by one material expert, one media expert, and 30 students of XII OA class in Vocational High School 1 Magelang and then converted to qualitative data with five eligibility categories. The results of this study are tutorial video for setting the front wheel alignment with a 3D spooring tool which gets a score of 3.94 (feasible) from material experts, from media experts get a score of 4.11 (feasible), and student opinions get a score of 4.41 or 88.11% (very feasible) so that learning media’s tutorial video for setting the front wheel alignment with a 3D spooring tool is very suitable for use in learning.

This study examines the use of Google Spreadsheet as an innovative tool in managing digital archives in the Educators and Education Personnel Section of the Education Office Region I of South Jakarta. The background of this research stems from the increasing complexity of archive management due to technological advancements and the growing need for more efficient and secure archive systems. The use of cloud-based technology like Google Spreadsheet is expected to provide solutions to overcome challenges in managing digital archives, particularly in the processes of planning, maintenance, disposal, and supervision. The objective of this research is to explore the use of Google Spreadsheet in digital archive management and to identify the challenges and solutions that can be implemented to improve the efficiency and security of archive management within the education office. This study employs a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, gathering data through in-depth interviews with informants, direct field observations, and document studies. The research also highlights data security issues, which are critical in managing cloud-based digital archives. The findings reveal that using Google Spreadsheet offers several benefits in archive management, such as improving accessibility, speeding up recording processes, and reducing paper usage. However, some challenges were identified, including limited staff understanding of digital tools and potential data security risks. Based on these findings, the study recommends the development of formal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regular training for staff to ensure more effective and secure digital archive management. The study concludes that Google Spreadsheet is an effective tool for supporting the digital transformation of archive management, provided it is accompanied by appropriate policies and training. The novelty of this research lies in the development of a model for utilizing Google Spreadsheet as an integrated digital archive management platform with a focus on data security in a government office context. This research contributes significantly to formulating strategies for efficient and secure digital archive management in cloud-based work environments

The purpose of this community service is training and workshop to guide and assist teachers, employees and students in introducing and understanding and implementing digital archive management with Windows Explorer, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Word and PHP MYSQL.. The resulting output is a digital archive book that will be useful in guiding teachers and as one of the teaching materials in carrying out education and teaching in vocational high schools. The methodology used in the implementation of this community service activity is action research activities consisting of Planning, Preparation, Implementation (actions), Observation and Evaluation and Reflection. The conclusion of community service is the implementation of community service activities through guidance and assistance with the results of increased knowledge about digital archives, skills in managing digital archives, expertise in using digital information technology and being able to apply digital archives management and support for the course of an organization.

The implementation of a digital PjBL-based system significantly assists teachers in documenting practical learning and improving accountability for the learning process. The use of a digital PjBL management system not only increases student engagement but also significantly improves the quality of automotive engineering practice through progress tracking and real-time feedback.This study aims to design and develop a project-based learning (PjBL) management system suitable for automotive practice in vocational high schools and to assess its feasibility and effectiveness in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method adapted from the Borg & Gall and Sugiyono models. The developed web-based system features project management, evidence uploads, rubric-based assessments, discussion forums, and student progress monitoring. Validation was conducted by media experts and vocational practitioners, while limited trials involved 30 students from Grade XI of the Light Vehicle Engineering program. Results showed the system was highly feasible with an average score of 85.5%. The system improved student engagement scores from 3.04 to 4.3 and learning outcomes from 72.3 to 85.1. These findings confirm that a digital PjBL system effectively enhances practical learning in vocational education.

The purpose of this qualitative case study is to explore the potential value of an innovative business model on pediatric immunization record management which will serve as the basis for the development of a digital platform for the use of pediatric consultants and medical secretaries at a private secondary hospital in Quezon City. The study utilized a qualitative case study involving the pediatric consultants and medical secretaries of a private secondary hospital in Quezon City. Qualitative data for this study were gathered through in-depth, semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, documents, journaling, and observations. Results have shown that pediatric consultants and medical secretaries follow only one way of arranging patients' records which is through alphabetical order using the surname. Many clinics and hospitals still rely on paper-based medical records to document patients' information. All participants shared the same difficulties and sentiments when it comes to the problems they have in the current way they deal with immunization records. Based from the statements of the participants, results revealed that pediatric consultants and medical secretaries support and are in favor of the use of a web-based record management system. However, some participants stated their apprehensions for the security of patient information. Further study that focuses on formal training is recommended to increase the confidence of the healthcare workers in utilizing digital record management systems and intense exploration of the potential challenges in adapting a digitized records management system must be conducted.
